Delivery times and costs:
These products are made to order and we aim to despatch within 5 working days of receipt of your order, although at busy times such as Christmas and Easter this may be longer. Please contact us at the time of ordering if your item is required urgently.
The standard shipping charge is £1.50 with free delivery for orders over £30.
For International deliveries the shipping is an additional £4. Please add this to your basket from the button at the bottom of this page in order for your order to be processed.
Items will be posted by first class recorded post to the UK and International ‘signed for’ abroad. All deliveries will require a signature on receipt and tracking information is available on request.
Items lost in the post can only be classed as lost after 15 days from posting, until then no replacement can be issued.
Returns:
Unwanted items can be returned, in original condition, within 14 days for a credit note, refund or exchange. We cannot be held responsible for items being lost on their way to us and it is the senders’ responsibility to retain proof of posting and claim for lost items.
Any faults with the products, or packing discrepancies, must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the order, We withhold the right to request that any item/s reported faulty are returned to us with all packaging so that an assessment of the fault can be made and a replacement product issued if necessary.
The hand made nature of the black rabbits products mean that there may be slight variation in colour or style from the item seen on screen. This is the nature of hand made goods and should not be considered a fault. We will never send you a product we are not completely happy with.
Payment:
Payment on the site is via Paypal. If you do not have an account you can create one by visiting www.paypal.com. If you would prefer to pay by cheque please contact us.
We cannot take payment over the telephone.
Gifts:
If you are buying a product as a gift and would like it posted directly to the recipient, please confirm the delivery and billing addresses on your Paypal checkout. If you e-mail at the same time we can make sure to send the invoice to you and the product with a delivery note only (no prices shown) to the address required.
Toys:
The products on this site are labelled as not suitable for children under three years due to small parts. Some products, where indicated contain, lavender and are not therefore intended for use as toys.
Care instructions:
All products are supplied with relevant care instructions and failure to comply with these, resulting in damage to the product is not something we can be held responsible for.
In general items which require washing such as egg cosies and tea cosies should be gently hand washed in cool water with a mild detergent. They should be squeezed dry and not wrung or turned inside out. The product should then be reshaped whilst damp and dried flat.
Items containing lavender are not recommended for washing but if you do need to clean them they should be wiped with a damp cloth.
